The Marsala and Veal were extremely salty, which begs the question why add more salt to something that has prosciutto? The waiter was asked if the Marsala dish was gluten free and we were told "yes".
My body's reaction to it says "no". The vegetable sides that came with the dishes were about pieces and tasted pretty raw.
Even the drink that was ordered tasted like the glass wasn't properly cleaned from soap residue. The restaurant did not have the air conditioning on during a hot day, which also made the experience a bit underwhelming. Overall not a good experience at all. Absolutely superb! Although everything was wonderful, the pappardelle with mushroom sauce is what dreams are made of!
Scrumptious down to the last morsel. The staff was attentive without hovering and the evening was a treat. Always go there for a great meal. That increases the bright flavors and quality recipes its chef uses with its basically Northern Italian menu. And in a pricey New York City market, it's prices are unusually reasonable. All of the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is always excellent be it indoors or outdoors. Excellent dinner and service. The food and staff are outstanding.
