MAPLE Anyone able to identify this or glean anything about the company, piece, value? We have a large dining room table with six chairs. All have carved ball and claw feet. The chairs have black leather seats. I wish i could add photos here. From the info provided and the labels on the chairs, i date the set to be from The house was built in Our family bought the house in the with all the furniture included. I have the table and buffet as well for the set. My best guess is the chairs came as a set of 4. I have one extra so 6 can sit around the table almost comfortably. The table has two pull-out ends, no screws in the chairs nor the buffet except to hold on the back of it. Nice set, very simple design. Jerry : I have an arm chair frame No seat or back cushion which appears to be maple with stamp on the bottom: "Conant Ball Furniture Makers" with and stamped below the Conant Ball furniture Makers stamp. I expect the numbers are the pattern number. It has short legs and could be a type of dux design, I am not sure.
