Lashes By Shannon. Bob G. The zipper in my garment bag came off track and I asked the hotel I was staying at for assistance in finding a place to repair it. The hotel was very helpful and found Cho Tailor Shop to be fairly close to the hotel.
I went to Cho Tailor Shop and showed the female employee the problem. I assumed they were going to replace the zipper and was charged for the repair before the work was completed. When I got the garment bag back, I noticed that nothing was replaced and the zipper was simply put back on track. With a couple of basic tools, I could have fixed it myself within a few minutes.
The hotel driver also said he could have fixed it in 5 minutes. Cho Tailor Shop refused to return any part of the original cost and became beligerent with the hotel employee who tried to assist me with my complaint. I would not pay this business anything before completing the work. More importantly, I would not recommend doing any business with them! So far, so good! I am definitely going back.
Shannon P. Great, friendly and quick. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone. Taylor M. This is by far the worst alteration experience I have ever had. I took a chiffon bridesmaid dress in along with four other bridesmaid that were in the same wedding as me. When the tailor started pinning I told her it still felt loose. Completely rude and not trying to resolve the situation at all. Quality of the work is sub par at best and customer service was horrendous.
Take your business elsewhere! Steve m. Worst Customer service of all time. I have been a long term customer simply for the sake of convenience. I recently took a pair of slacks in for a simple hem, and when I picked them up, the hem line was crooked. I took it back and showed it to them, and they said it looked fine. When I finally got in touch with her, her store associate told her there was nothing wrong with my pants.
They proceeded to refuse to refund my money despite me being extremely unsatisfied with the work on a very expensive pair of pants. The associate then hid in the back room and refused to come out to the front to discuss things further.
This is, by far, the most unprofessional business and customer service I have encountered inside the United States. Above all, I have had quite a few garments tailored at this store, and this is how they treat their loyal customer base!!! The prices are already high at baseline, so when a customer is unhappy with what they have done, the very least they can do is offer to fix the problem or refund the fee.
I will never go back to this place. I would highly recommend that you avoid it as well. Jessica B. I had asked them to add a button snap at the top inside of the dress to hold the wrap together — they did however they sewed the chiffon overlay into the button so that it pinched the top of the dress so that it was very visible.
They also left two pencil marks where they placed the button — refusing to remove them telling me they would wear away on their own. Plus, she wrinkled the chiffon at the top and when I asked her to steam it for me she told me to go to the dry cleaner. Why should I have to now pay more money to have a dry cleaner clean the marks and then steam it. Needless to say, I do not trust them anymore and would never go to them again.
They were unhelpful after they had done these things to the dress. Kara F. I kept going to this place long after I should have simply because of their convenient location, but recently I just had enough. Yet they still charged me a lot. Each time I try to bring the items I had ready paid for back to get them actually fixed, they tried to charge me AGAIN for the same item.
I had to like vigilantly watch what they were charging me for and firmly insist that I had already paid for it. Jarrod E. I originally brought in two pairs of slacks to have the waist adjusted.
As soon as I tried them on the stitching came undone due to their lack of quality work so I brought them back for them to repair. Word of caution to anyone using this tailor: if there is an issue with their work make sure to get it in writing that they will not recharge you. Or look for a better and more honest tailor. Anna B. Took a pair of lined pants and a button up to get tailored. The pants were pretty torn up around the hem and they did a great job of fixing it and making them look almost new.
